1. Products

In the webshop you can buy designs by Ecouture and a few products from other manufacturers. You can read about Ecouture’s approach to sustainable materials and social responsibility in our CSR profile.

2. Prices

The total of your order is an all-inclusive price, including shipping costs (freight) and 25% VAT in Denmark – as it appears in the order confirmation you receive when you purchase. The specified price at your time of order, is the applicable price. Collected goods are invoiced at the current price at the time of your order, and this price does NOT change, regardless of a price decrease or increase. The webshop’s currency is DKK (Danish Crowns).

3. Payment

Payment is by credit card. The amount is deducted when your goods are packed and shipped from our warehouse. We strive to have all goods sent within 2 business days. We ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

4. Shipping

All orders are shipped with GLS to the address you’ve selected during your order or a pick-up shop. Our shipping prices are fixed. We make sure you receive an email with your tracking number so you can track & trace your parcel on its way to you. Normal delivery is 1-5 working days. NB. there will be longer delivery for pre-sale (see chapter 5).

5. Pre-ordering

Just about every month, we design a new style, which can be pre-ordered before it’s put into production. By pre-ordering, you’re ensured to get your desired size and colour. At the same time, you’re helping us diminish overproduction, which we reward with a discount. It’s a win-win situation! Please beware that the pre-order has to be on a separate order. If you wish to buy more items from our shop, you’ll have to place a different order. This is due to the fact that we don’t charge your card until production is finished and your parcel has been shipped from our warehouse. You can read more about pre-ordering here. Delivery for pre-orders is normally 3-4 month.

6. Cancellation right

You have a 14-day cancellation right on all items, starting from the day you receive your parcel. The cancellation right can only be claimed, if the products show no trace of use or wear (stains, smell, creases etc.)

You can cancel your order by letting us know, that you wish to cancel it. You do so, by sending us an email: shop@ecouture.dk. You cannot cancel an order by not picking it up or by refusing to receive it, unless you have previously noticed us about your wish to cancel your order. You may use the Danish Standard Cancellation Form, but it isn’t mandatory. If you do so, we’ll instantly email you a receipt of your cancellation. The form will be sent to you along with your order confirmation. The deadline for cancelling has been made, if you send us a message about your wish to cancel your order, before the deadline expires.

7. Return policy

Ecouture offers a full 14-day refund guarantee from the day you receive your order. Items must be returned in mint condition and free from any sign of use (damage, smell or creases).

Ecouture will pay the cost of return and exchange, if you live in Denmark. You can send us an e-mail and ask for a returnlabel: shop@ecouture.dk

If you live outside Denmark, and unless otherwise agreed, you must pay the cost of return shipping. We will reimburse the entire purchase amount to you (including the first delivery cost) within a few days after the item is received. Please calculate a few days for bank processing time.

All garments that are returned to Ecouture must be securely packaged. Please return garments to Ecouture’s address (above) in packaging that protects the garments against moisture. You must include a note stating if you want a refund or exchange to another garment (preferably, written on a copy of your receipt). We wish to improve Ecouture constantly, so please tell us why you are returning the product.

8. Sound returns and damaged goods

Damage as a result of inadequate packaging may lead you to losing your right to a refund. Ecouture recommends that the garments be returned using Post Danmark or GLS, and that you select parcel delivery. This allows you to track the package and eliminates any doubts, as to whether the garment has been delivered to Ecouture. It also allows you to search for a package if it does not reach its destination.

9. Refunding your money

If you select a refund upon returning an item, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs. If you’ve chosen a delivery method that’s costlier than the cheapest form of delivery we offer, we will however not reimburse you the additional cost.

We will refund your money without unnecessary delays and under all circumstances no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of return. We can withhold your refund until we have received your parcel or until you’ve forwarded documentation for your return.

We refund your money to the same card used during your transaction, unless you’ve specifically requested otherwise. Under no circumstances will you be charged any kind of fees due to your refund.

10. Warranty

If a purchased item is faulty – if it has a fabric or production flaw, you have an exchange warranty.

You may make your claim within 24 months of your purchase by contacting us at: shop@ecouture.dkPlease be as specific and detailed as possible about the fault or flaw.

If your claim is valid, we’ll refund your return shipping costs within reason. Please remember to soundly package the item(s) and get a receipt for your shipment. Save the receipt including the shipping cost details, as well as a track and trace number, if provided by your post office.

11. Norway and Switzerland

The Danish tax will be deducted from your payment in the checkout phase of the webshop, if you live in Norway or Switzerland. Ecouture’s clothes are made in the EU, which means that you do not have to pay your local tax, when you receive your parcel. The parcel do have to go through customs though and you have to pick it up in a delivery shop nearest to your address.

You can read more about return or exchange of garments in Norway here: http://www.toll.no/no/ –

12. Right of complaint

If you wish to complain about an item or a service provided by Ecouture, you’re always welcome to contact us by email: shop@ecouture.dk. We’re constantly looking to improve, so please let us know in detail, what you’re unsatisfied with. Together, we’ll no doubt come up with a solution.
